My garden - unusual guided tour
On the occasion of the Garden2025 commemorative year, Pannonhalma Archabbey continues its highly successful series of guided tours, this time entitled "My Garden". During the special programme, members of the Benedictine community will be joined by prominent figures from Hungarian cultural, artistic, scientific and ecclesiastical life to guide visitors through the monastery's gardens - and their own inner gardens. All this is an opportunity for an encounter where nature, faith and human experience are deeply intertwined.

Individual and community walk on the spiritual path
In the monastery of St. Martin, the arboretum and herb garden are located at the interface between the Abbey and the world. The Year of the Garden also invites the monastic community, the monastery's staff, friends, visitors and the wider visiting public to focus on the unique but endangered treasure that has been preserved and cared for by the monastery's monks and staff since the first half of the 19th century. As well as inviting them to discover the healing powers, cultural significance and gastronomic-culinary potential of the herb garden's flagship plants.
